Praise be to Allah, who revealed the Quran as guidance for humanity with clear signs of wisdom. Peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad, who conveyed Allah’s message with excellence.
We warmly welcome you to the 28th session of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, a global platform serving the Quran, uniting memorizers and scholars worldwide.
As we begin this session, we renew our commitment to the Quran, striving for excellence and dedicated to fostering its teachings in hearts and spreading its light globally.
With Allah’s grace and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, who founded this award in 1997, this competition inspires Quran memorizers globally. It sets a standard for Quranic contests, attracts participant worldwide, and inspires initiatives that touch millions devoted to the Quran.
Celebrating this new session, we take pride in the award’s achievements and reaffirm our sacred mission. Guided by our leadership, we aim to advance this effort to meet modern needs while honoring the Quran’s timeless place in hearts and minds.

About the Award
The mission of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award is to spread Quranic culture and sciences through sustainable community initiatives, local and international competitions, and Quranic activities and programs that support the memorizers of Allah's Book and its people, and honor the distinguished among them, through a vision that establishes the Award's position as an inspiring model in serving the Book of Allah locally and internationally.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Competition is held during the blessed month of Ramadan each year. It is one of the most prominent Islamic awards for the memorization and Tajweed of the Holy Quran on the international stage. Since its establishment based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai 'may Allah protect him' in 1997 (1418 AH), the award has seen the participation of 2,107 contestants from 91 countries around the world.
The Award aims to encourage the memorization and Tajweed of the Book of Allah and the contemplation of its meanings, and to honor individuals and institutions that have provided distinguished services to the Holy Quran and its sciences.
