Islamic Personality of the Year:
An annual award granted to an individual or a legal entity who meets the following conditions::
The nominee must have played a distinguished role in serving Islam and Muslims.
The nominee must have an effective impact and positive contribution to society.
The nominee must have produced tangible scholarly works characterized by originality and excellence.
The nominee must be a role model worthy of emulation and possess a reputable standing in the Islamic world.
The nominee must be alive at the time of selection if an individual.


The winner of the Islamic Personality of the Year is honored during the Dubai International Holy Quran Award ceremony. The Board of Trustees may decide to honor the winner in an alternative manner deemed appropriate, The recipient is awarded a financial prize of one million dollars.
